After Independence of India has seen 14 full-time prime ministers some of them works silently for the country and they do not face the tough time, but some of them had taken tough decision for the state.

But the fact is that he does much good about today's India, like world-class institutes of higher learning, our space programme and the widespread use of English that gives India a competitive advantage in a globalized world.

5. Narendra Modi

Narendra Modi is the second non-congress leader who is near to complete full 5-year tenure and he is the first non-congressi leader who gets the full majority to form the government in the center.
He ruled more than 15 years as CM of Gujarat, but unfortunately, in his tenure, India saw Godhra riots.
But after becoming prime minister he took many strong decisions, like demonstration and GST, and he also trying to make the global relation.
